A little about me, Alyssa.

Nice to meet you,

Hi, I'm Alyssa.

I've always been someone who needs to understand the why behind things — whether I'm climbing a rock face, building something with my hands, or figuring out why my body won't cooperate.

That curiosity is what brought me into movement, and it's what has kept me evolving as a coach for over a decade.

My journey started in 2014 at a CrossFit gym — not as a coach, but as someone chasing a challenge. What I found was something I didn't expect: a deep fascination with how the body moves, adapts, and communicates. I became a coach, started my own business in 2020, and kept asking questions that conventional fitness couldn't answer.

Because I kept seeing the same thing — women who were working hard, pushing through, and still hurting. Still feeling disconnected. Still not being heard.

So I went deeper. Into biomechanics. Into breath. Into the patterns the body builds to protect itself — and what it takes to gently unwind them. I wove in what I'd learned through my own journey with mental health, meditation, and self-discovery, because I know firsthand that the body, mind, and heart are never truly separate.

Today I work with women who are done with the push-harder approach and ready for something more honest. My role isn't to fix you — it's to help you understand yourself, move with ease, and build a relationship with your body that actually lasts.

Based in Santa Cruz, CA — and endlessly curious about what the body is capable of when we finally start listening to it.
